You came to life with missions, things you needed to accomplish for yourself and the things that you were asked to do for others.
The circumstances of your birth were chosen to give you a very good chance of doing everything you came to do from a place of happiness and health.
However, in this reality bad things can happen. When they do happen, the Universe rearranges itself around you to still give you the best chance to succeed.
A home with good Feng Shui becomes a participant in your life missions and helps channel help from Heaven to you.
Your DNA
Your DNA, or physical inheritance, plays a huge role in the things that you are able to do in this life.
While there are many things that all people are able to do, there are some things that are determined for certain individuals depending on their genes.
For example, only people of a certain height can have a shot at becoming professional basketball players. Most people can learn the sport and, with practice, become good at it. However, to make it professionally, height is a requirement.
Physical inheritance can give you advantages and may also limit what you can do with ease, and even what you can do at all.
In Your Home
The way your home was built influences the way you live in the same way your DNA influences what you are able to do physically.
The size of your family rooms determines how many pieces you can fit in it. A smaller family room, forces you to choose either a smaller number of chairs, or a smaller set of furniture. A larger family room may require that you subdivide the space into more than one area — one spot for reading and relaxing and one spot for playing games or watching media.
The shape of the floor plan, the number of stories, the type of stairs, they all have a say in what is possible and what is not possible to do in that home.
Good Feng Shui helps you make the most of what is feasible in your place.
Your Family of Origin
Your biological parents passed on their DNA to you, and they also passed on their emotional patterns and their habits of thinking.
If you were raised by people who were not related to you through biology, they still passed on to you their patterns and habits.
Some of the things you learned from your family help you get along in life. Other things become obstacles that you need to overcome.
Your upbringing makes you reach conclusions about life that you later on use to make decisions and take actions.
In Your Home
Just as you picked up emotional and mental patterns from your relatives, you also learned from them how to set up a house and how to upkeep it.
If you established good habits in organizing and cleaning your home as a child, housework is easy for you as an adult.
However, if your home of origin was a mess, you may not have learned at all how to clean, declutter or maintain a home. If this is your case, it is now your responsibility to learn methods and systems to do this. It’s up to you get yourself the right tools to get the job done!
Your Language and Culture
Every human language is a different way to see the world. The language you learned to speak in your home and the language spoken in the town or city where you grew up (which could be the same or different) largely determine how you see the world.
If you, like me, grew up bilingual, you likely have the ability to see the world from two different perspectives.
For many people their culture, their nation and their country are the same. But, for other people, all three may be different. This is often true for immigrants, but it can also happen to people who have lived all their lives in the same place. In the country were I was born and raised, Ecuador, there are about 20 indigenous nationalities where the people have chosen to preserve the customs, language and beliefs they had since before the arrival of the Spanish people.
In Your Home
The geography and weather of the place where you grew up encouraged designers and builders to make certain decisions about how homes were built and decorated.
The closer to the equator a home is, the more important it is to have the door covered by a generous portico or porch to give people reprieve from the sun and heat.
The farther from the equator, the more important it becomes to have proper insulation to protect inhabitants from the winter colds.
Some cultures favor lifestyles that are closer to the floor, and may prefer cushions on a rug to living room chairs. Other cultures discourage any activities from happening on the floor.
The decisions you make about your home need to take into consideration the culture you live in and what is customary. It is up to you to uphold or to challenge the decorating styles of your ancestors.
You need to take the weather into account, too. Ignoring the outer environment may result in higher energy costs and less enjoyment of your home.
Your Social Class
How well of your parents or caretakers were when you were born, and how much you saw their circumstances change as you grew up, can have a marked effect on how you perceive work, money and prosperity.
The availability of money and resources, and the educational level of your parents was instrumental on the privileges that you were able to access in your life.
While most people dream of being rich, some life missions are better attained from a middle class situation, or even a situation of poverty.
Periods of poverty or difficult times may be necessary training periods for a person so that later on they may achieve their life tasks.
Some people may have chosen to life a live of privation as a unique experience for a life time. However, with good Feng Shui, it is natural for people to grow their wealth and become able to make money more easily. Because this is so prevalent, I’m inclined to think that Heaven wants people to gain in prosperity as the years go by.
In Your Home
One of the things that informs other people about how well you’re doing in life, is the size and style of your home.
Homes are symbols of status.
However, choosing a type of home just for appearances can be detrimental to your happiness.
The Feng Shui standard for happiness is the smallish home, full of people you love — rather than a mansion full of staff.
Whatever the size or style of your home, do your best by it. Make the home beautiful and comfortable, then fill it with great energy.
As you make decisions on how to furnish or decorate your home, ask yourself how you will use each spot in your home to create more happiness for you and your loved ones.
Your Changing Circumstances
The reality in which we exist can sometimes be brutal. Bad things can, and do happen.
When something unfortunate happens to you, the Seed rearranges the circumstances around you to put you in the path to full recovery. Heaven will send you assistance in the form of information, people, chance encounters, and even posts on social media, to guide you to the best course of action after something inconvenient has happened.
You may have, at some point, concluded that God sent you some tragedy or huge problem to put you on their right path. You may say things like, “I am what I am today because of that accident,” or “the abuse made me strong.”
The truth is that no abuse or shocking even was sent to you by Heaven in order to teach you or correct you. What happened was that Heaven sent you help after the event, and you listened, and did what you needed to do to get well, and even to get better than what you were before.
Not everything is good, but good can come from all.
In Your Home
The only constant in life is that everything always changes.
Even a home that has been made perfect through proper Feng Shui, care, and love, needs to change at some point.
As you and your family go through different stages in life, your needs also change, and the home has to reflect those changes to better serve you in the present.
Sometimes you decide to change one thing, just one thing, about your home, but that triggers a domino effect and you end up redecorating or remodeling one section of your home. This is normal and expected. It is a good thing!

When a person deviates too much from their contract with Heaven, or they do it for too long, there may be a loss of health.
