There are nine bad habits that may be holding you back. You can replace them with nine positive attitudes that you can develop.

Until you read them, you may not be aware that some of the things you’ve been doing are problems. You may have been doing some of these things all your life, thinking that was the only way to live, because you hadn’t been shown an alternative.

Stop Making Excuses

Excuses are not reasons, but when you repeat them to yourself over and over again, you start to believe them. When you complete the floor plan in your home, that helps you realize that right here, right now, you already have everything you need to be healthy, happy, prosperous and free. Some things may take time, but you’re on your way. When you switch to making plans and living a life of strategy instead of making excuses, everything changes for you.

Ditch Drama

Many people are used to having stressful relationships with themselves and others.

You may have grown up thinking that conflict is a natural part of daily life. While conflict can’t always be avoided, in a happy life, conflict should be rare.

Some features in your home may make you prone to drama. In fact, things in your home that can be described as too much or too little — excesses and deficiencies — are believed in Feng Shui to cause you to live an unbalanced life.

When you learn to balance the energies in your home by working on hallways, staircases and the height of ceilings, you create an environment that helps you embrace balance in your life.

Stop Relying on Coffee and Wine

If you have to take coffee in the morning to get going and at night you drink wine, something’s not right with your energy.

Some features in your place can drain your vitality, making it hard for you to rest and recuperate. You wake up still feeling tired and can’t get on without a stimulant. Then you spend the rest of the day stressed out and when it comes time to relax and rest, you’re still wound up.

By making sure that chi energy flows gently throughout your home, you’ll be able to relax and sleep deeply, so you can wake up energized. Your stress levels will be low because your home will be harmonious and welcoming.

A Day Late and a Dollar Short

If you always feel like you’re missing out on opportunities it may be because you’re not in alignment with the rhythms of nature.

Your relationship with clocks, calendars, and the windows in your home, affects how you perceive space and time.

When your calendars and clocks are showing the right date and time, it’s easier to plan your days. When your windows, curtains and blinds open and close easily, then you can control the amount and quality of the air and light that come into the home.

Being in tune with nature helps you feel the Universal winds and currents of life, so that you may be in the right place at the right time. Then you start getting lucky, because luck is about being often in the right place at the right time.

End Arguments

Many issues in your home can cause irritability. Doors that get stuck, drawers overfilled, printers that malfunction — they are causes of irritation.

The people in your home, even though they’re relatives, they each have different personalities and different goals

Stop Self-Sabotaging

Everyone self sabotages in some way. It’s not because everyone is self-destructive. It’s because all people have blind spots about their own issues.

By looking at your home, you can find out what your blind spots are.

End the Messes

In nature, a healthy organism is one that is able to excrete that which it no longer serves it. A healthy home is a place that doesn’t keep things that are no longer needed.

By letting go of things that you don’t use or need, you make room for life. This is how you create spaces to do the things that you need to do and to do the things that you would love to do.

Stop Fearing the Future

Instead of fearing the future, plan for the future. It doesn’t serve you to just hope that things will turn out alright. It’s better to design your future by setting healthy goals for each of the nine life areas:

  2. Marriage, Relationships and Partnerships
  3. Health, Family and Community
  4. Wealth, Prosperity and Self Worth
  5. Center of Good Fortune and Gratitude
  6. Helpful People, Spiritual Life and Travel
  7. Children, Creativity and Fun
  8. Wisdom, Self-Knowledge and Rest
  9. Fame, Reputation and Social Life

What that does for you as an individual is that it helps you realize that you already have everything you need to be happy, healthy, and successful. 

Step number two is to correct any excesses and deficiencies in the home. 

And what this does for you is that it helps you avoid a life of drama and instead live a balanced life. Step number three, Optimizing Circulation – so that the chi flows properly through your home – helps you feel relaxed and energized. 

Step number four, Working with Nature – so you’re in tune with natural rhythms – helps you be in the right place at the right time. 

Step number five – Harmonizing Colors according to the Five Elements – helps you create a nurturing home, and when you do that, you reduce irritation and arguments, so you get along with others better.

Step number six is about using the right symbols in your home, so you give yourself positive messages. 

And what that does is that it stops self-sabotage – you tell yourself the things that you need to hear, so you can go where you need to go. 

Step number seven – properly maintaining your home, clearing the negative energies from your home, decluttering your home, all of these things keep your home healthy. 

A healthy home makes it easier for you to heal and let go of the past in order to live your passions.

And when you have clear objectives, it makes it easier to for you to achieve your goals faster.
