I’ve been doing Feng Shui for a very long time. During this time I have been sharing content in YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and now TikTok. By the way, are you following me? My social media handle is @fengshuiforus
Lately, I’ve started sharing very short reels that give just one Feng Shui idea — something you can understand immediately and start applying right away, if it resonates. These quick tips have really taken off.
But… growing a social media presence is a double-edged sword.
The Surge
As my posts have gained visibility, I’ve welcomed a wonderful surge of new followers. However, that same visibility occasionally attracts unwanted attention — the skeptics, the contrarians, and those looking for an online argument.
Some people have advised me that engaging with them — that heated back-and-forth — is how you “win” the algorithm. But the truth is, I’m not interested in increasing my numbers among people like that.
I simply let them be, or delete them if they cross the line into actual rudeness. My energy, and this platform’s energy, is reserved for something more meaningful.
It’s not about avoiding discussion. It’s about protecting a space. I’d rather have a smaller, truly connected community of Feng Shui sensitive souls than a large, noisy audience filled with people who are fundamentally opposed to the very feeling we’re here to explore.
My reach is meant to find you — the person who gets it — not to convince the person who never will.
Let me explain.
That Moment of Recognition: “Wait, I Felt That Too”
When I was first introduced to Feng Shui, a few things felt foreign, but the majority of it felt like plain common sense. Much of the advice confirmed things I had already experienced personally.
I remember looking at bed headboards with metal bars and thinking how uncomfortable and “prison-like” they felt. Because no one else commented on it, I assumed I was either the only one who cared — or that these observations were simply irrelevant. But then I read about this in Feng Shui books. Other people saw the world the way I saw it!
The “Can’t Unsee It” Principle
Sometimes, Feng Shui provides information that is entirely new, but once you see it, you can never unsee it. Take, for example, the classic glass-pane coffee table with sharp corners balanced over a heavy base. Before Feng Shui, it was just furniture. After understanding the flow of energy and safety, it transformed into a glaring potential danger.
This type of information opens up a reality that stays with you forever. It’s not just about “decor” — it’s about how a space affects the human nervous system.
Defining “Feng Shui Sensitivity”
I call this being Feng Shui sensitive. It is a high level of sensitivity to physical environments and an innate understanding of how spaces affect our well-being.
The truth is that every person in the world is affected by the objects and layouts around them, whether they realize it or not. But those who do notice are special. It’s as if they possess an extra sense — a frequency that allows them to perceive the “mood” of a room before they even sit down.
I’m Here For The Sensitive Ones
These are the people I am looking to reach.
I don’t create content for the people scouring the internet looking for a debate. I am not here to provide scientific proof or defend ancient wisdom to those who have already decided not to “get it.”
I understand that Feng Shui isn’t for everyone — and that’s okay.
My mission is to find the others who feel the “prison bars” and the “sharp corners.”
I create for those who walk into a room and immediately sense the story in the air — the weight of clutter, the lift of clear space, the silent hum of energy that says “stay” or “flee.”
I use social media to teach, and also to find my people. The ones who don’t just scroll, but who see something and get it. I create for those who always noticed these things quietly, and who’s been waiting for someone else to point at them and say, “You feel that, too, right?”
Are you Feng Shui sensitive? If you’ve ever felt like you were the only one noticing the energy of a space, I’d love to hear your story in the comments.
I definitely feel you on this Moni! Every post you put out hits me as a really direct validation of so many of the things I’ve known intuitively for so much of my life, and there’s always a few really helpful new hints interspersed too. I’m so grateful for both, the validation and the ideas/ tips/ points of conviction. Thanks for what you’re doing. I think it’s a tangible way to share love with the world… Because any ways people can take your words and create meaningful shifts for themselves is a true gift that will keep giving. Sending my gratitude!
Thank you so much, Charity! 💖
